Ok so I know it's only the second book, but, WOW!!! This newest addition of the Master Vampire Series, (making THE MASTERS into a series) is the best so far! It's even better than the first book! The first book was slow in starting because of the backround of the Vampires, but it grabs you in the end....BUT the second book grabs you from the start to end!

The story starts off around the time period of Aura's daughters being two years old when a couple of Master Vampires meet a sickly, troubled, and wealthy young woman named Melody. Melody, doomed to die by the virus AIDs is miraculusly saved by the Master Vampire Damian who gives her his blood and in a consequece of the Master Vampire Code, becomes his PROPERTY!

Now Damian is the most unusual Master Vampire...he's actually allergic to the sun and can only go out at night or on rainy and cloudy days...it can't kill him, but it does hurt him!

Daren is Damian's older Vampire brother who comes to live with Damian, but Damian has no home either, so they both come to live with Melody who offers her Family's mansion to them.

Damian and Daren are both sired by Anthony, who if anyone recalls is Amadio and Aura's Vampire brother, so that means that the Vampires we already know and love are going to come and pay a visit to the new happy little family!

With touching additions of Vampire children and the problems that surround them, to a desperate fight in an abandoned rail yard, to freezing cold lands of Alaska, to a surprising way to kill Vampires, a touching love story, Messy strawberries, a fun theme park, Vampire santa, and hot motorcycling and surfing Vampires, this is book that you won't want to put down and will keep you coming back for more!!!!!!

I have read both of your Vampire Books. I liked the first book "The Masters" - it is good reading, fun and with a lot of great adventure for the Vampires in this book and a great starter book for young adults and teenagers, however, the second book "The Kiss of The Master Vampires" is really great - much better this time around! Of course you can't read the second book before the first one, therefore, I recommend buying this in a package deal in order understand how the second book is woven into the first book!!!!

I'm glad I purchased the set! When are you coming out with a third?
